MTB 103: Trail Riding / Green Level

This is the final class in the 100 level series and is designed to maximize students’ on-trail practice of all the skills covered in MTB 101 & 102. We know that so much learning happens in our “grassroom” sessions at a local park but we also want our students to practice these skills in real-life trail scenarios. Plus, riding these local trails with our encouraging coaches is super fun, and will provide you with helpful support like spotting (where possible) and a “tow-in” (or wheel to follow) through sections of trail.

  • Prerequisites for this class: MTB 102 or equivalent / the ability to perform the skills listed in MTB 101 & 102

  • Click here to read more about how you can prepare for your lesson

  • Duration: 3 - 4 hrs, depending on class size

  • Cost: $165

  • Location: Exact meeting location will be sent upon registering but you can expect to meet at a local Bellingham trailhead

MTB 103 will cover topics like these:

  • Quick review of MTB 102 skills

  • On-trail practice & practical application of all the skills learned above

  • Ride a fun network of Green trails with help from our expert and encouraging coaches

  • Opportunities to stop and “session” or practice certain moves

  • Opportunities for spotting, tow-ins, and insightful trailside video feedback
