The technical skills required to race the trails at Raging River demand thoughtful line choices, confident high-speed cornering, balanced tight-turning, and an approach to every kind of corner and turn in between.
The old racing adage: “jumps for show, corners for dough” is a great reminder of what it takes to do well in a race. This class is intended to help you attack your corners like a confident champion.
We will go over some lessons and drills to aid you in your progression then head up the mountain for a little bit of practice on the trails.
In this class students will learn the foundations of high-speed cornering, techniques for slower speed or sharper (switchback) turns, and how to manage their speed and line choices in a variety of corners.
